I love a good lightweight, delicate crochet wrap. Essentially a wide scarf, this crocheted wrap is a lacy rectangle that we continue to crochet until we run out of yarn. Great for gradient yarns or delicate fibers. Let’s make one!
Edwardian Wrap Crochet Pattern
The Edwardian Wrap is the perfect little something to throw around your shoulders on a chilly day. The weather here is turning pretty quickly and I definitely feel the need for that extra layer wrapped around my neck on the cold mornings.
For this lacy wrap crochet pattern we are using the Edwardian Lace stitch. This is mainly made up of chain stitches and a double crochet cluster stitch.
This easy wrap pattern uses a two-row repeat that is also easy to remember once you get going. My favorite!
You will want to block this wrap when you are finished with it so that you can see the beautiful, open stitch work of the design.
Great yarn options for the Edwardian Wrap would includeย Truboo by Lion Brand,ย Mandala Bonus (enough in ONE cake), Premier Cotton, Mary Maxim Mellowspun,ย WeCrochet’s Shine Sport, or any other 2 or 3 weight yarn that creates a nice fabric for your gauge swatch.
