Dog Toy Basket
This dog toy basket pattern is the newest installment of the 2024 Dog Crochet Series. This is a year-long series during which I design one new crochet pattern per month relating to pets. Check out all of the other dog series patterns and posts at this page. There are some great ones so far!
I absolutely love it when my girl Cher gets feisty and throws her toys around. I call her “Spicy Cher” and she is so much fun to watch. She also has her favorite bones that have a peanut butter like filling similar to these. She’ll work on those bones for months!
Her other favorite is this red Kong tug of war toy. She’s had that one for a loooong time and hasn’t been able to tear it apart yet. The stuffed toys are new for this pattern release and I can tell you that they won’t last long! 🤣 She’s patiently waiting for me to finish photos. Haha!!
Now I have a place to store her dog toys and bones with this basket crochet pattern. Excellent!
For this basket we are using Comfy Bulky yarn. This is the heaviest weight version of the Comfy line, some of my favorite yarn. Other Comfy yarn weights are Fingering, Sport, and Worsted.
Ready to make the dog toy basket? Let’s work one up today because they don’t take long! Here’s what you’ll need…
Note that you could use a regular cotton like Dishie and that would work just fine, just know that the basket will come out slightly smaller than mine.
