  1. I purchased the Alpine Vest pattern. I have two problems. 1. The pattern starts with alternating single crochet but the gauge is done in double crochet. Is that correct? 2. The picture of the sweater shows ribbing but I don’t see ribbing in the pattern.

    1. Hi Polly! The swatch pattern included in the pattern is just for the Alpine stitch, however gauge is provided for both stitch sets. The ribbing for the neck, armholes, and bottom edge is written at the end of the pattern.

  3. Ashlea I am stuck I am doing the ring around the Rosie vest from The Lavender Chair I will attempt to send you the copy of the pattern. I am stuck on row 13. In row 12 the pattern called for a chain 21 which i think is for the arm holes. I do not know if I should do the next row in front of behind the chain 21. Could you look at the pattern and give me your thoughts. You can find the pattern on the Lavender chair webpage.

  4. I purchased the dragon scale gloves pattern. When you get to the part of the pattern where you make the first row of clusters and the thumb hole it says 10 clusters made and 1 thumb hole, but actually it's 12 clusters made. I counted it out and I go around 4 times following the pattern and it's 12 not 10. Is that correct?
