Granny Stitch Water Bottle Holder Free Crochet Pattern
This water bottle holder is inspired by an upcoming vacation. My boys and my mom and I are headed on vacation together where we will be doing a lot of walking. What better way to be a tourist than with a chic HANDMADE water bottle cozy?! They’ll all be wanting one. 😉
This water bottle sleeve is intended to fit most generic size reusable water bottles, or the one liter size commercially available water bottles. We only need about 100 yards total to make these slings, and they work up SO FAST! You can use cotton or a cotton blend as I have done here.
I used CotLin yarn for mine, in various colorways. You could also use Dishie cotton,ย Lion Brandโs Truboo,ย Premier Cotton Fair,ย Hobbii Friends 8/6 Cotton, orย Shine Sport. The great thing is that you can use scrap yarn too! This is an excellent, colorful stashbuster crochet project idea.
Now let’s get to making our water bottle sling, shall we?
