I love a good Basketweave Pattern. I also love a good beanie. If you, too, fancy a lovely crocheted beanie, this pattern is just the one to make! This Basketweave Beanie is adult size, is easier to crochet than it looks, and feels great on. Let’s make one!
Basketweave Beanie: Free Crochet Pattern
This free crochet pattern for a Basketweave Beanie is the latest installment of the 2025 Donation Crochet Series. This pattern is meant for the special person in your life undergoing chemo or other medical therapy.
For this pattern we are using the Brava Baby DK yarn, a wonderfully soft yarn that is great for everyone. This is a 100% Premium Anti-Pill Acrylic which is a great yarn for donations because some people are allergic to wool or other animal fibers, but acrylic is usually fine. Plus this is SUPER soft without having to wash it. If you are familiar with the Brava line (see my full review here) you’ll know how soft it is already. I believe this baby DK is even softer than the worsted!
