Select a yarn weight below to see a list of many different brands sorted by fiber content. Each yarn listed also includes yardage per skein/ball and the actual weight in grams. This list includes yarns from WeCrochet, Herrschners, Mary Maxim, Hobbii, Premier Yarns, Lion Brand, Berroco, Cascade Yarns, and Red Heart, Bernat, Caron, among others.

I have not included Amazon but you can check for yarn deals at this page. As new yarns are introduced to the fiber arts world they will be added to this listed, and as yarns are discontinued they will be removed from the list.

While it is not ideal that for many of us the opportunity to lovingly squish the yarns before buying them is being diminished, the silver lining is that now we have the entire internet from which to choose our purchases. That being said, we need to rely on each other for feedback on new-to-the-market yarns, and which yarns don’t quite pass muster.
